How much does the Intercom WhatsApp integration cost?

With Octopods, each WhatsApp number on Intercom is $99/mo, billed monthly. Every paid channel adds 50,000 messages a month to one pool shared across your account, and going over never stops messages: extra use is $100 for every 25,000 messages. Octopods adds no Intercom plan requirement, and Meta bills its WhatsApp message fees to you directly, with nothing added by Octopods.

• Your Intercom plan

  Any Intercom plan works with Octopods. Intercom's own seat prices and usage charges, such as Fin outcomes, follow Intercom's pricing.

• The Octopods WhatsApp channel

  $99/mo per WhatsApp number. Other channels, such as Telegram, Instagram and Twilio SMS, use the Omnichannel rates: $49/mo for the first channel and $39/mo for each extra one.

• Meta's message fees

  Meta charges per delivered message, by message category and your customer's country, and bills you directly. Octopods adds nothing on top.

• Templates are charged per message

  Marketing, utility and authentication templates each have a rate per recipient country. Utility and authentication rates drop as your monthly volume grows; marketing rates don't.

• Service replies after the first 1,000

  Since October 1, 2026, free-form replies inside the 24-hour window are charged after the first 1,000 per business number each month, and utility templates sent inside the window are charged too.

• Fin replies count as service messages

  Replies from Fin reach the customer on WhatsApp like an agent's reply, so they count toward Meta's service messages. Intercom's own Fin pricing applies separately.
